Pindang Patin is typical culinary which comes from Palembang. it has specialty on the taste. Patin fish is processed until well-done. Then it is given seasoning.

If you are meatball lover, Palembang city has unique food which comes with almost resembles meatball. It is Tekwan. it is made from Ground Fish and tapioca powder which is formed to be pentol dough. it comes with piece Mushroom, Jicama and broth from Shrimps.

 

4. Kemplang

Kemplang is Kerupuk type which can be enjoyed as snack and additional side dish. it is made from Tenggiri Fish. Before it was made from Belida fish. and tapioca powder. Belida fish is freshwater fish often caught from Belida, Musi and Batang Hari Rivers. Because of water pollution. it was difficult gotten until kemplang maker switched to Tenggiri Fish.
